Talent Acquisition Manager

Job description

We’re looking for a Talent Acquisition Manager who will develop and lead all aspects of our recruiting strategy. The Talent Acquisition Manager will help us find the best talent that will allow us to reach our growth and expansion goals. The Talent Acquisition Manager will report to our VP of Operations, but will also work very closely with the founders.

The Talent Acquisition Manager will be responsible for:

  • Defining the strategy and execution of our recruiting processes for all of our different geographies and different levels (from entry level positions to leadership roles)

  • Sourcing, screening and completing a preliminary assessment of candidates

  • Acting as a brand ambassador to continue building a strong employer brand

  • Building and developing relationships with a pipeline of all star talent

  • Working closely with the hiring managers and other company stakeholders to ensure talent needs alignment (e.g. setting budgets, defining profiles, etc)

  • Using HR metrics to evaluate the efficiency of our recruiting processes (e.g. time to fill, retention)

  • Creating internal training on interviewing best practices for all levels of the company

  • Delivering a great candidate experience that helps us continue enhancing our talent brand


  • You are passionate about education and technology and you’re comfortable talking about it!

  • You have 3+ years of talent acquisition experience (preferably in high-growth startup environments and hiring technical roles)

  • You are able to build and manage recruiting processes with minimal oversight

  • You are a strong communicator, capable of working closely with our leadership team

  • You have a strong network of contacts that you can leverage

  • You are a likeable person and will take the time to treat every candidate thoughtfully (even on crazy busy weeks!)

  • You enjoy working with people from all over the world

  • You are fluent in English (Spanish is a big plus)

  • You are a doer, the moment you get out of bed, you’re getting stuff done

  • You like challenges and enjoy having tons of autonomy with no bureaucratic BS
