#About the Gig
We’re looking for a highly personable Admissions Manager in Miami who is passionate about our mission and will help develop a strategy to attract and select high potential students to turn into great developers and product designers.
The Admissions Manager will be responsible for:
Creating strategic partnerships with companies and organizations as sources of recurring leads, locally and nationally.
Planning and hosting open houses and other informational events (coding + design workshops, tech events, etc.)
Becoming an expert on our courses and the coding bootcamp industry.
Nurturing, interviewing, qualifying, and converting prospective students daily.
Owning our lead and admissions funnel to hit enrollment targets.
Collaborating with our team to lead sales and marketing initiatives.

Outstanding written & verbal communication and interpersonal skills (e.g. being an effective listener, articulating the vision of the company, and being able to modify your message depending on who you’re speaking to). Able to build great relationships in-person, by phone, and email. You should feel genuinely interested in helping our applicants make their educational goals become a reality.
You’re able to thrive in the sometimes chaotic early stage startup environment and enjoy having tons of autonomy. You should also be incredibly organized, a critical thinker, and possess a can-do positive attitude, with an exceptional work ethic.
Persistent, methodical, and disciplined at following up with a large number of leads from various sources; can create systems to maintain and stay on top of the sales funnel.
Previous success in managing events- has a history of organizing, promoting and running well-attended and 5-star events.
A kick-ass brand ambassador; someone we would be proud to have as a face and representative of Ironhack.
You have 2+ years worth of experience in admissions, sales, or business development.
You are fluent in English (written and spoken).
Attend our part-time UX or Web Dev bootcamps for free.
